The simple mixer schematic is built on common base principle, where input voltages are transformed in alternative currents wich are summed to form the alternative current component for the collector. The total amplification is R6 / Ri, where Ri is one of the input resistors. I’ve build this mixer for a little transmitter and works great. (more…)
One transistor audio mixer

The simplest audio mixer circuit diagram on the net. It has only one transistor and can support as many audio signal as you can afford. BC109C is a very cheap transistor and with a few resistors and capacitors you can build quickly a mixer circuit diagram that you can use in your pirate radio or wherever you want, imagination is the final frontier. Please keep in mind not to use higher voltages than 22V as a power supply for this audio mixer. (more…)

4 channels mixer voltage controlled

The audio mixer schematic we propose is developed arround 4 amplifiers build inside SSM2024 produced by Precision Monolithics Inc. (PMI) and is voltage controlled (VR). The maximum VR voltage is 5.5V. The signal/noise ratio is 90dB and 130Khz band wide. This 4 channels mixer works great at +- 15V but you can use voltages between 9V and 18V. (more…)
Audio Mixer with one transistor

This one transistor audio mixer is used in an amplifier circuit design with base driven transistor and with its emitter being current controlled, most of the driving current flows through the collector away. Using the values in the audio mixer circuit shown in the diagram, the collector current will be about 1 mA. At 15 volts power supply, the input resistors should be 33K. Additional input lines can be connected to the emitter line. Each added input must be series limited by the 33K resistor. (more…)

This audio mixer circuit schematic we propose here is built around four amplifiers, which are current controlled, all of them incorporated in IC SSM2024, produced by Precision Monolithics Inc. (PMI). To obtain a small offset and a high rejection, the four mixer entries must have a 200 Ω impedance. Those impedances are obtained with resistors R5-R8, which belong to the voltage divider from every audio input. (more…)
