Amplification factor, power gain and dB
Jun 29th
To find the power gain ratio corresponding to a 3 dB change in level, use the formula: The table showing the amplification factor if you know the power gain in dB (more…)
FM antenna amplifier
Jun 28th
Use this fm antenna amplifier in areas where the signal reception of FM stations is too bad. This circuit is just the right thing to do it. It is designed in such a way that the supply current powering it flows through coaxial cable. With this technique, an extra cable to power the fm antenna amplifier is unnecessary. The RF signal and the DC current supplying the amplifier use the cable simultaneously. Check another FM antenna booster circuit diagram. (more…)
Fm transmitter with MOSFET
Jun 26th
This mosfet fm transmitter circuit is designed to be used for aligning FM radio receivers. It has a microphone amplifier with automatic gain control. The FM modulation is a voltage oscillator and the final stage is built with MOSFETs. A lowpass filter at the output assures the transmission of a clean 10 … 50 mW FM signal. IC1 works as an amplifier supplying a negative control voltage to FET T1. The amplitude of the amplified audio signal can be adjusted through P1. The carrier frequency is generated by the oscillator T2. (more…)
Thomson 32LB220B4/U Chassis IFC228-LCD
Jun 25th
Here you can download the service guide manual which contains the components list, schematics, layouts and troubleshooting of the LCD TV Thomson 32LB220B4/U on Chassis IFC228-LCD. (more…)
UHF antenna amplifier
Jun 24th
This amplifier circuit is used to amplify TV signals in UHF range. It uses a low-noise transistor and gives 10 to 15 dB amplification in the frequency range from 400 MHz to 850 MHz.
The transistor must be shielded from the input components and in constructing this circuit, the wirings must be as short as possible. For best results, the cable must be directly soldered to the PCB. The circuit should be installed near the antenna and housed in a water proofed case. (more…)
TEA1039 datasheet
Jun 23rd
The TEA1039 is a bipolar integrated circuit intended for the control of a switched-mode power supply. Together with an external error amplifier and a voltage regulator (e.g. a regulator diode) it forms a complete control system. The circuit is capable of directly driving the SMPS power transistor in small SMPS systems. (more…)

DC Motor speed regulator
Jun 19th
This speed regulator uses a single IC LM1014 to control the speed of a DC motor. It senses the increase in the motor-current when the rotation of the motor slows down due to a load. The IC then increases the motor voltage so that the original speed is recovered. P1 potentiometer varies the speed of the motor. (more…)
Simple cable tv amplifier
Jun 18th
This cable tv amplifier is a rf-amplifier designed to be quickly installed between two coaxial cables. Both input and output impedances are compatible with 75 Ω cables. The main amplifier si T1 transistor, T2 is working as an emitter follower. The feedback bias is determined by R3 and R4. The total gain of this tv cable amplifier is 22dB. (more…)
