MAX2606 datasheet
The MAX2605, MAX2606, MAX2607, MAX2608 and MAX2609 are compact, high-performance intermediate-frequency (IF) voltage-controlled oscillators (VCOs) designed specifically for demanding portable wireless communication systems. They combine monolithic construction with low-noise, low-power operation in a tiny 6-pin SOT23 package.

Foxhunt transmitter
This 2 meter 144 MHz transmitter is used in amateur competitions where a hidden transmitter is to be “hunted” using mostly homebrewed receivers and antennas. The featured electronic circuit is the transmitter. It radiates a high quality signal without unwanted harmonics.
