Basic electronics forum
Mar 31st
Hi, I will like to announce that we cancelled forum.electroschematics.com and launched basic electronics forum, a place for electronic hobbyist, students and teachers. If you had registered an account, please register again.
With this forum we hope to learn electronics basics, starting from beginning with theory and continue up to electronic projects.
Wireless light switch
Mar 28th
You may use this wireless light switch instead of physical contact with switches which may be dangerous if there is any shorting. The wireless light switch circuit described here requires no physical contact for operating the appliance. You just need to move your hand between the infrared LED (IR LED1) and the phototransistor (T1). The infrared rays transmitted by IR LED1 is detected by the phototransistor to activate the hidden lock, flush system, hand dryer or else. (more…)
Electronic muscle stimulator
Mar 28th
This is an electronic muscle stimulator circuit that stimulates nerves of that part of your body where electrodes are attached. It is useful to relieve headache and muscle pain and revive frozen muscles that impair movement. It’s mainly electronic muscle stimulation aid is removing cellulitis and build up you muscles. (more…)
Electronic Thermostat LM56
Mar 28th
This fan controller is using an electronic thermostat LM56 produced by National Semiconductor. The LM56 is a precision low power thermostat. Two stable temperature trip points (VT1 and VT2) are generated by dividing down the LM56 1.250V bandgap voltage reference using 3 external resistors. The LM56 has two digital outputs. (more…)
Electronic Lamp Dimmer circuit
Mar 28th
This electronic lighting dimmer circuit is used to control the lamp for arbitrary brightness. This electronic lamp dimmer circuit work for incandescent lamp, not a fluorescent one. The dimmer circuit here work for both 110V and 220V AC. (more…)
LM1877 audio power amplifier
Mar 28th
LM1877 is a monolithic dual power amplifier designed to deliver 2W/channel continuous into 8 Ω loads. The LM1877 is designed to operate with a low number of external components, and still provide flexibility for use in stereo phonographs, tape recorders and AM-FM stereo receivers, etc.
Each power amplifier is biased from a common internal regulator to provide high power supply rejection, and output Q point centering. The LM1877 is internally compensated for all gains greater than 10. (more…)
9v power supply
Mar 26th
A simple stabilized 9V regulated power supply built with IC 723, 2N3055 and a few external components. (more…)
Tivax STB-T9 review and specs
Mar 26th
Tivax STB-T9 is a digital converter box which brings the world of digital clarity to any analog TV. Tivax’s boxes converter superior video and audio components TVs to experience a digital clear picture. With a solid metal construction and an internal power supply, it has a good remote (or use with you universal Remote (code 253)) and easy to use menus. You can add channels without rescanning them all. The channel guide shows both program titles & show descriptions. (more…)
LM386 amp
Mar 22nd
myCarAmplifiers.com published a new article with LM386 amp circuits designs. There are 4 LM386 audio amplifier circuit designs, with gains of 20, 50, 200 dB and a bass boost circuit. LM386 is a versatile, small power amplifier designed for use in low voltage consumer applications. The gain is internally set to 20 to keep external part count low, but with the addition of an external resistor and capacitor between pins 1-8 the gain can be set to any value from 20 to 200. (more…)
LM7805 voltage regulator
Mar 21st
Voltage regulator IC’s, with 3 pins, from LM7805 and LM7812 series are excellent for usage in voltage regulator circuits. If you need higher currents, up to 3 A, you must add a complementary transistor, T2 in this schematic. In a normal design, in case of a shortcircuit, the power dissipation can be very high. This problem can be solved using the voltage regulator design presented on aPowerSupply.com – voltage regulator circuit. (more…)
