Power supply circuits - related electronic projects and circuit diagrams (schematics), this helps you finding desired informations and facilitates your site navigation through all articles database.
In every website page you will find a special section (at the beginning or the end) with tags just like this and also different tags associated with the current article.
Tags inter-links stories with the similar content, so if you click on the tag you will find only related and relevant Power supply content.
Power Supply Regulation
Mar 7th
Regulated power supply is necessary in some electronic circuits especially in Amplifier circuits. Poorly regulated power may cause buzzing and unwanted noise in RF and amplifier circuits. There are two methods to get regulated power supply. The most common and simple one is Zener regulated power supply. A Regulator IC of 78 XX series or Variable regulator LM317 can also be used but it may increase the cost and size of the power supply circuit. Here explains the theory behind Zener regulation
Car DC Adapter
Feb 9th
Here is a DC adapter to charge Mobile phone or play a Music system using the power from car battery. The adapter will provide 4.7 volt regulated DC from the 13.5 volt DC power of the car battery (more…)
USB Mobile Charger
Feb 5th
Now you can charge your Mobile Phone from the USB outlet of PC. This simple circuit can give regulated 4.7 volts for charging the mobile phone. USB outlet can give 5 volts DC and 100 mA current which is sufficient for the slow charging of mobile phones. (more…)
Temperature to Voltage Converter
Jan 31st
With this simple temperature to voltage converter circuit we can do a precise measurement of the temperature in a room. A NTC resistor or a thermistor is used as a sensor that has a strong temperature dependence. If the NTC temperature rises then the output voltage rises with 0.5 V per 10C. (more…)
Delay On Circuit
Jan 22nd
Protect your LCD or Plasma TV with this tiny delay on circuit. The SMPS based power supply of these modern electronic devices is vulnerable to spikes in the mains line so it gives a time delay of one minute before applying power to the device. This prevents deleterious effects due to inrush current and spurious spikes at power on. (more…)
Solar based Multipurpose Charger
Jan 19th
Here is an ideal solution to harvest Solar energy for charging purpose. This charger can replenish almost all types of batteries including Mobile phone battery. It uses a Solar Module to convert light energy into electrical energy (more…)
