This simple fake car alarm or alarm decoy circuit device will simulate the presence of a burglar alarm in automobiles or homes. It has a few components, uses LM3909 and is easy to build. Mount R1 where daylight can fall on it. You may change the capacitor value for different flashing rates. During darkness, LED1 flashes, making potential intruders think an alarm system is installed. LED Alarm Simulator

This circuit simulates an alarm to discourage thieves and it is originally designed to be used on bicycles but can be used for cars too. It blinks a LED on and off thus simulating a real alarm circuit.
The LED alarm electronic circuit consists of a square wave oscillator generating a 1 MHz signal with a pulse width of 10 milisecond. The LED lights u 10 miliseconds long. The circuit consumes 30 miliamperes when the LED lights and the average consumption is 300 microamperes. (more…)

Smoke detector circuit

This home smoke detector circuit warns the user against fire accidents. It relies on the smoke that is produced in the event of a fire and passes between a bulb and an LDR, the amount of light falling on the LDR decreases. Fire Alarm Circuit

In this fire alarm circuit project, a thermistor works as the heat sensor. When temperature increases, its resistance decreases, and vice versa. At normal temperature, the resistance of the thermistor (TH1) is approximately 10 kilo-ohms, which reduces to a few ohms as the temperature ncreases beyond 100°C.
