DB3 circuits and projects

DB3 circuits - related electronic projects and circuit diagrams (schematics), this helps you finding desired informations and facilitates your site navigation through all articles database. In every website page you will find a special section (at the beginning or the end) with tags just like this and also different tags associated with the current article. Tags inter-links stories with related DB3 articles.

This is probably the simplest idea to generate flashing light from an LED using AC. The circuit is relatively the simple way of flashing one or more LEDs from a high voltage DC obtained from Mains. This can be used as a Mains indicator or Mock flasher.

The brightness of a neon tube can not adjust as easily as that of a bulb with Incandescent tube because it starts only when a voltage much higher than that of the network, then remains on at electrical network voltage.
Normally, the high starting voltage is obtained by the interruption of current which circulates through a choke coil. This is usually a starter to ensure a sufficiently large current through the tube filaments.
These starter functions are taken over by circuit presented which also allows adjustment of the neon brightness.
