dimmer circuits and projects

dimmer circuits - related electronic projects and circuit diagrams (schematics), this helps you finding desired informations and facilitates your site navigation through all articles database. In every website page you will find a special section (at the beginning or the end) with tags just like this and also different tags associated with the current article. Tags inter-links stories with related dimmer articles.

A good friend of mine (electronics hobbyist) ask me if I want to make a small review about 3 of his sites and I accepted….
There are three different categories:

This simple LED dimmer circuit has 2 transistors, 1 resistor and 2 potentiometers.
Typical segment displays LEDs consume around 25 mA for each segment and should be limited to it with resistors. If a six digit display is to be current limited, at least 42 series resistors are needed.
To counter the above described problems, the led dimmer circuit it allows for eventual adjustments of the display’s brightness.

By simply touching this touch dimmer switch you can increase the light intensity of incandescent lamps in three steps. Initially, when mains switch is on, the bulb is off. Now, if you touch the touch plate, the bulb glows dimly. On second touch, the bulb gives medium light. At the third touch, the bulb is driven fully. Another touch puts off the light.

dimmer switchThis electronic lighting dimmer circuit is used to control the lamp for arbitrary brightness. This electronic lamp dimmer circuit work for incandescent lamp, not a fluorescent one. The dimmer circuit here work for both 110V and 220V AC.
