dimmer circuits
dimmer circuits - related electronic projects and circuit diagrams (schematics), this helps you finding desired informations and facilitates your site navigation through all articles database.
In every website page you will find a special section (at the beginning or the end) with tags just like this and also different tags associated with the current article.
Tags inter-links stories with the similar content, so if you click on the tag you will find only related and relevant dimmer content.
Dimmers, tv antenna and mosquito repellents
May 21st
A good friend of mine (electronics hobbyist) ask me if I want to make a small review about 3 of his sites and I accepted…. There are three different categories:
- lamp dimmer switch reviews, circuits, tips and wiring diagrams
- natural mosquito repellent electronics product reviews, circuits, tips and tricks.
- tv antenna amplifier circuits, tips, reviews and how to choose the perfect antenna amplifier for you tv set.
- burglar alarm systems circuits, tips, advices and reviews about burglar alarm systems.
LED dimmer
May 16th
This simple LED dimmer circuit has 2 transistors, 1 resistor and 2 potentiometers. Typical segment displays LEDs consume around 25 mA for each segment and should be limited to it with resistors. If a six digit display is to be current limited, at least 42 series resistors are needed. To counter the above described problems, the led dimmer circuit it allows for eventual adjustments of the display’s brightness. (more…)
Touch dimmer switch
Apr 19th
By simply touching this touch dimmer switch you can increase the light intensity of incandescent lamps in three steps. Initially, when mains switch is on, the bulb is off. Now, if you touch the touch plate, the bulb glows dimly. On second touch, the bulb gives medium light. At the third touch, the bulb is driven fully. Another touch puts off the light. (more…)
Electronic Lamp Dimmer circuit
Mar 28th
This electronic lighting dimmer circuit is used to control the lamp for arbitrary brightness. This electronic lamp dimmer circuit work for incandescent lamp, not a fluorescent one. The dimmer circuit here work for both 110V and 220V AC. (more…)
12V Dimmer
Dec 29th
A dimmer is quite unusual in a caravan or on a boat. Here we describe how you can make one. So if you would like to be able to adjust the mood when you’re entertaining friends and acquaintances, then this circuit enables you to do so. Designing a dimmer for 12 V is tricky business. (more…)
Automatic lamp dimmer
Sep 28th
This automatic light dimmer circuit makes it possible to control a lighting system so that it turns on or off slowly. The circuit works this way: when switch S1 is closed, the capacitor C1 is slowly charged. Once the voltage at C1 reaches 0.6, transistor T1 begins to conduct and the LED also begins to light. If the capacitor voltage increases further, then transistor T1 conducts more current and in return the LED lights brighter. (more…)
