motor circuits - related electronic projects and circuit diagrams (schematics), this helps you finding desired informations and facilitates your site navigation through all articles database. In every website page you will find a special section (at the beginning or the end) with tags just like this and also different tags associated with the current article. Tags inter-links stories with related motor articles.

This triac-based motor speed regulator is designed for controlling the speed of small household motors like drill machines. The speed of the motor can be controlled by changing the setting of P1. The setting of P1 determines the phase of the trigger pulse that fires the triac.
The circuit incorporates a self-stabilizing technique that maintains the speed of the motor even when it is loaded.

This speed regulator uses a single IC LM1014 to control the speed of a DC motor. It senses the increase in the motor-current when the rotation of the motor slows down due to a load.
The IC then increases the motor voltage so that the original speed is recovered. P1 potentiometer varies the speed of the motor.
