switch circuits - related electronic projects and circuit diagrams (schematics), this helps you finding desired informations and facilitates your site navigation through all articles database. In every website page you will find a special section (at the beginning or the end) with tags just like this and also different tags associated with the current article. Tags inter-links stories with related switch articles.

Here are some DIY LDR switch circuits available on our website and the web. LDR switches are used to switch a relay or other device when light are present or absent. LDRs or Light Dependent Resistors are very useful especially in light/dark sensor circuits.

Normally the resistance of an LDR is very high, sometimes as high as 1000 000 ohms, but when they are illuminated with light resistance drops dramatically.

This automatic light switch with LDR automatically turn ON the light when the surrounding light dims to a preset level. It can be used as an automatic park light switch. The first circuit diagram is an NPN design intended for negative grounded chassis. The second diagram is the PNP version intended for a positive grounded chasis.

This multiplexer switch circuit is built with the IC 4066 and was designed to switch multiple signal sources into a single common output and can be used as a replacement for the conventional mechanical switches.

This Toggle Switch uses the popular Johnson Decade counter IC CD4017.By giving positive pulses to its clock input, the ten outputs of the IC becomes high one by one provided the reset pin is grounded. By connecting the reset pin to any of the output, IC latches and the output remains high irrespective of the clock pulses. This toggle action can be exploited in various relay driver circuits.
